Sushi Pagoda is an imitation of the typical architecture style in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), built in commemoration of Su Shi (1037-1101), who held the official position of the prefect of Xuzhou Prefecture in 1077 (in the Song Dynasty). Rising to a height of 26.17 meters, the pagoda has five storeys with glazed golden eaves and is octagonal in cross-section. The inscription of its name is in the handwriting of a renowned calligrapher, Wei Tianchi. Inside the pagoda, there are engraved pictures, depicting Su Shi's life and deeds. Spiral staircases inside the pagoda lead to the top tier, which overlooks the bewitching ripples and reflections on the water.
