Along the cascade, wild reeds, umbrella palm, Indian shots are planted in well-spaced layout, making the cascade a wonderful outdoor destination. Hard, static stones and the soft, dynamic waterfall form a delightful contrast. Midway up the mountain stands a bronze statue of Zhang Daoling (34-156), a Taoist master. The statue weighs 13.5 tons and stands to a height of 9.3 meters. The cascade is also called "Wudou Cascade" (literally, five decalitre waterfall ) after the Wudoumi Sect established by Master Zhang Daoling.
